Chris
Chris is one of the newest members of our Home Dialysis Therapies team joining us in 2022. He has been a dietitian for 7 years and he comes to us with vast clinical experience in both the acute setting and the dialysis setting.
Chris
Having personal and professional experience with many different cultures allows him to form personal connections with patients and to have a better understanding of their concerns and needs. Chris enjoys working with patients on home dialysis because it is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Since home dialysis patients have more control over their own care, he finds that they are engaged with the dialysis process which provides them with more incentive to keep on track with their health status. When asked about what makes this work meaningful to him, he states, “It is amazing to see home dialysis patients that are able to continue living life with energy and the ability to do the things they want to do.” He is inspired by the resilience patients showcase when describing their full-time jobs and continued dedication of time to their loved ones on top of keeping up with their home dialysis regimen. Chris likes to stay physically active and plays soccer several times a week. He chooses to maintain a balanced healthy diet so you can feel confident that he can help you succeed with any dietary changes that are needed as part of your healthcare routine.
