At HDT, your language and communication needs will be met. If English is not your primary language, we encourage you to identify a family member or friend to regularly attend your appointments with you for translation assistance. If you do not have anyone who can translate for you, or if sensitive medical discussions need to transpire, we are contracted with a company called Pacific Interpreters that can assist with skilled and confidential translation. We appreciate that eliminating the language barrier can improve your health literacy and ensure you are an active participant in your care plan.
